Keeping Canada Wild since 1968
Wildlands, a leading environmental non-profit dedicated to protecting Canada’s wild spaces, engaged us to create a refreshed brand identity that would define the organization’s next chapter. The new identity needed to anchor a redesigned website and guide all future communications, providing a clear and inspiring visual foundation for the organization’s advocacy and outreach efforts.
The goal was to craft a logo and design system that felt simple, memorable, and enduring while capturing Wildlands’ profound connection to nature and its mission to safeguard Canada’s wilderness.
The visual system expands on these themes through a colour palette inspired by Canada’s forests, mosses, and earth tones. This natural palette, paired with modern typography and a flexible layout system, creates a cohesive identity that is both grounded and forward-looking. Across print and digital applications, the design language supports clarity and impact, ensuring the organization’s message of conservation is communicated with strength and purpose.
Collateral materials, campaign assets, and digital interfaces were developed to express the brand consistently across all touchpoints. Each element reinforces Wildlands’ role as a trusted advocate for environmental protection and a rallying force for those who care deeply about Canada’s ecological future.
The result is a distinctive, adaptable identity that personifies Wildlands’ mission and connects emotionally with its audience. By combining modern design principles with the raw beauty of nature, the rebrand positions Wildlands to inspire action and continue its vital work in protecting the landscapes that define Canada.
